Introducing:

THE 14-DAY SPRING CLEAN EATING REBOOT

WITH INTEGRATIVE WELLNESS COACH,

JENNIFER MEDLEY

The new season is upon us... I welcome you to my SPRING Reboot program!

Spring is the most important season for cleansing, when our bodies instinctively tell us it's time to lighten the load and re-set. Suddenly we’re inclined to eat lighter foods, and perhaps the focus shifts towards the body and desiring “body confidence”.

Doing a gentle, food-based cleanse at least four times a year supports a healthy body for a lifetime. According to Chinese Medicine, each season has a specific organ focus. SPRING is the season to specifically support the liver and gallbladder...and in essence, to return to your physical body and boost energy levels to keep up with the return of outdoor activities.

The experience of Jennifer’s winter cleanse really reset my whole approach to eating, and has radically transformed my diet and feeling of health. Her gentle and encouraging guidance, her comprehensive information and delicious recipes, made it much less about eliminating certain foods, and more about consciously nourishing myself. Two months out, and I am still eating a wider variety of foods than ever before, and have continued to feel rested and energetic without reintroducing sugar (a particular craving) or caffeine into my life.
— Catherine M, NYC Musician (Winter Reboot)

Everyone needs a "reboot" now and then, especially overscheduled women who very often put themselves last on the list of priorities. When we're busy, we tend to go for what's "easy" (quick, mindless meals; less-than-healthy snacks), not for what is best for our body. This happens to me when I'm oversheduled, and when it does, I know a reboot will help put me back on track.

There's debate these days as to whether cleanses are necessary but I've seen from clients and from personal experience that a cleanse allows someone to PAUSE, evaluate what's working and not working. A cleanse releases autopilot and allows space for new upgrades.

What makes my REBOOTS unique?

Each of my seasonal Reboots is a safe and effective cleanse, lightly based on a gentle elimination diet – a three-phase approach to cleansing your body. By the end of the program, you’ll have a better idea which foods work for your body and which inflame you. When your relationship with food stops being such an uphill battle, you wipe the slate clean, giving your body a whole new beginning.

REBOOT (re·boot ˈrē-ˌbüt): the act or an instance of starting (something) anew or making a fresh start

I am amazed how much healthier I feel physically and mentally after Jennifer Medley’s Clean Eating Reboot. I not only have more energy, sleep better and just feel more comfortable in my body, I also learned an incredible amount about nutrition and how I can easily incorporate healthy, balanced and above all, conscious eating into my family’s life. My immune system feels stronger and my seasonal allergies have lessened incredibly. Jennifer’s daily emails, strong support, and comprehensive knowledge make this cleanse unique.
— Julia Reimer, Healer (Fall Reboot)

What to expect during a REBOOT:

1) Pre-Cleanse, Phase 1 = 1-4 Days (you choose duration)

1) Preparation: Up to four days can be used to read over all the materials, do any necessary shopping or meal planning, begin to gently & gradually wean off of the main dietary culprits, and in essence, mentally prepare for Phase 2 & 3.

Phase 2 = 7 Days

2) Cleanse: This is the heart of the program. You'll eliminate certain foods entirely but all the while enjoy delicious, satisfying meals and snacks based on a wide variety of ingredients.

Phase 3 = 4-7 Days (you choose duration)

3) Transition: You'll slowly add the eliminated foods back in and take note of how your body reacts to the the re-introduction. You may very well reconsider re-introducing certain foods entirely! (*If desired, you can extend this phase and add foods back in even more slowly and mindfully, like a traditional elimination diet.)

*14 days is a standard amount of time to give the Reboot, but as you can see, you could go shorter or longer (the longer the better!)

Thank you again for running such a great program. I really do feel like it has made a lasting positive effect in my life. It was a real eye opener into some unhealthy eating habits I had. I feel less bloated, my energy levels are up, and the best part for me has been discovering new healthy foods that I really like, foods I was always hesitant to give a try but I am so happy I did.
— Michelle E. (Fall Reboot)

ARE YOU READY TO UPGRADE THE WAY YOU FEEL?

Two start options:

I would like to share how grateful I am to have been able to participate to your Fall cleanse program. It was such a great experience that I did it again with my boyfriend as soon as I got back to France, and he loved it too! We are actually trying to keep it this way, sticking with the food that worked for us and only adding back what we really feel like needing (hopefully we’ll be able to completely remove these foods one day, step by step!). We feel great and much stronger since we’ve made these changes.
— Aurélie V. (Fall Reboot)

Never thought it was this easy to cook healthy and be fulfilled. Happy that the Reboot protocol blended nicely with my Japanese heritage of cooking. Jennifer has comprehensive knowledge and offers point-to-point advice from a fair perspective. It’s not all green and raw!

Need even more reasons to cleanse?

Most people carry around 5-10 pounds of unnecessary build-up in their digestive system (yikes!). This can lead to issues such as headaches, weight gain, and bloating, The simple solution for this is a whole foods cleanse program designed to instill new (and better) habits. This step-by-step approach to cleansing is designed to help you be mindful and finally figure out which foods are on your side – and which ones aren't -- safely and quickly. Leave the confusion, fad diet books, and deprivation behind. My Reboot will guide you, step by step, to eliminate the foods that may be interrupting your health and clarity.

Dr. Mark Hyman, of The Institute of Functional Medicine, believes our systems need periodic rest and support to continue functioning optimally. "Because of the way we live today, our detoxification system faces increasing pressure, making the need for such rest and support greater than ever."

A cleanse focuses on releasing the toxins your body takes in from your day-to-day interactions with metals, chemicals found in cleaning products, food and drink, etc.

Let's toss out the notion of extreme detoxing, and instead focus on improving digestion in a simple way through clean eating. You’ll eat only whole, seasonal foods that are designed to support your body’s natural processes of detoxification and cleansing.

Spring Rebooting will help you:

▪ Detox the liver and help reduce inflammation

▪ Have vibrant, day-long energy, even without coffee.

▪ Improve your digestion and begin experiencing regular bowel movements

▪ Improve your nutrient absorption

▪ Eliminate foods that wreak havoc on your body and create belly bloat

▪ Discover the tools you need to de-stress in the real world

▪ Strengthen your immune system

▪ Jumpstart your metabolism

The material can be used over again during the spring season to cleanse on your own, and with over 65 recipes, you may discover that a few become part of your normal repertoire.

As Kris Carr, of Crazy Sexy Wellness so nicely puts it, "A periodic health inventory will identify where your sails are soaring and sagging.”

COMMON Q'S FOR THE CLEAN EATING REBOOT

Q: Is this one of those liquid-based cleanses?

A: No! This is a whole food cleanse, meaning you'll use unprocessed, natural foods to fuel yourself. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner; all using simple, delicious recipes. Oh, snacks too...and even a few desserts! This is not a strict cleanse, nor a deprivation diet. Calories will not be counted! All that said, the recipe guide will include several yummy juice and smoothie recipes.

Q: What kind of changes can I expect?

A: Cleanse results will vary amongst participants, however common results are: refined taste buds, stabilized cravings, a few pounds lost, newfound awareness of how foods are fueling you, education about new food items and how to cook them, attention to foods that you may have sensitivities to. This is not a "detox" per se, but for participants who normally eat a lot of sugar, or drink a lot of caffeine, there may be withdrawal symptoms within the first few days (this is a good thing!); together, we can figure out ways to comfortably get through this period.

Q: Will I be able to work and/or exercise like normal?

A: Yes! This is a whole food eating plan so it should not affect mental focus or physical ability. Your mental focus might even increase after the first few days! Exercise usually helps with energy levels, so especially if you're used to working out, don't stop! You'll have protein and lots of liquids during this cleanse. Please consult with your doctor if you have specific concerns about your unique health situation.

Q: Will I need to load up on supplements, pills or herbs during the cleanse?

A: Nope. This cleanse is whole foods based. You'll have the option to take one supplement only, and that is probiotics. (I'll explain why during the program.) Other suggestions may come up based on what a cleanser is personally needing. But keeping it simple is a great plan.

Q: Are the menu ideas 100% vegetarian/vegan?

A: That's the way I'd like to see it, to give your body a break from animal protein digestion, and also to give your taste buds the chance to experience lighter, plant-based proteins. That said, you'll have flexibility for the type of protein you'll add to your meals; I will help guide you, whether you're veg or carnivore.

Q: I've always wondered if I have a gluten or dairy sensitivity, will this program help me to know?

A: If you re-introduce gluten and/or dairy during Phase 3 of the Reboot, you'll definitely gain a sense of whether your body reacts to either. This cleanse is not only gluten-free and dairy-free but it's also free of many other common allergens. We can touch base before the cleanse begins to discuss any particular food concerns, but in general, it's always good to change up the foods we eat, to give digestion a break and let your body have a voice.

Q: What if I have no desire to lose weight?

A: No problem, I will give you special tips that will ensure your weight remains consistent.

Q: Can I do this cleanse even if I don’t cook?

A: The Reboot recipes are simple, and were designed with a busy person in mind. But I get it. Once you read through the Reboot information, you’ll understand what foods are allowed on the cleanse -- in  a restaurant, choose within those guidelines…but reach out to me for further guidelines as restaurants tend to sneak in “bad oils” or other not-so-great ingredients. In your own kitchen, simplify the recipes to your own liking (or choose your own). Or do the cleanse with a friend and take turns with meal prep!

Q: The one thing I can't imagine giving up is my morning coffee... Do I have to?!

A: Our poor adrenals can use a now-and-then break from caffeine (my thought is that is if you're addicted, that's a sign enough!)...but if you are certain that you'll cling onto your morning coffee mug for dear life, even just for seven days (Phase 2), simply keep it to one cup per day. Aim for high quality coffee (organic, fair trade). As the cleanse proceeds, you may begin to feel you can cut back to 1/2 cup, or substitute with tea. You'll receive some tools for how to deal with withdrawal symptoms.

Q: Will I need to spend a lot of time on my computer?

A: While your documents will need to be downloaded onto your computer or device of choice, you then have the option to print them out. And/or keep your own old-school notebook with details you want to remember.

This Reboot (as of now) is NOT on a web-based classroom, no special log-ins after you’ve subscribed to the special Spring 2025 Reboot list, no passwords to keep track of.

Q: Can I do this program if I'm pregnant or nursing?

A: Absolutely, since there are no strong detox-provoking agents used. During the cleanse, pregnant or nursing women will eat more protein and fat, and likely snack and hydrate more than the average cleanser. Definitely contact your healthcare provider if you have special concerns.

Q: Should I contact my doctor if I have a known medical condition?

A: Yes, I strongly recommend you consult with your doctor before registering for this program. And know that I'm happy to connect directly with your doctor to explain the cleanse in more detail.
